Silent installation
GOO Web Server supports a fully unattended installation. No wizard, confirmation, or result dialog is shown when --silent is present. Administrator elevation can still produce the standard Windows UAC consent prompt; enterprise deployment systems should launch the installer in an elevated system context.
Microsoft Store default
Use this installer parameter in Microsoft Partner Center:
--silent --accept-license
It installs the offline Apache configuration using HTTP 80, HTTPS 443, PHP 8.3.33 NTS x64, a localhost self-signed certificate, no database, and the default destination C:\Program Files\INOSAS\GOOWS. Existing installations are upgraded and backed up by default.
IIS example
For native Internet Information Services (IIS) FastCGI deployments with existing port conflict takeover:
.\GOO-WebServer-Setup.exe --silent --accept-license --web-server iis --http-port 80 --https-port 443 --ssl self-signed --iis-takeover --existing upgrade --log "C:\Windows\Temp\goows-install.log"
--iis-takeover is explicit consent to stop conflicting IIS sites and disable their automatic start without deleting their sites, pools, or content. Do not add it to a general Store command unless that behavior is intended.
Database example
Deploy with integrated MySQL or PostgreSQL offline databases:
.\GOO-WebServer-Setup.exe --silent --accept-license --database mysql --database-port 3306 --database-password-file "C:\Secure\goows-db-password.txt"
The password file must contain at least 12 characters. Its contents are never written to the command line or installation log.
